An Apartment Building Portrait from Heraklion, Greece
by Jennifer Skopp
On a recent trip to Greece, Jennifer went to the island of Crete and visited the city of Heraklion. She spotted this very old three-story building that could have been an apartment house. It looked uninhabited.
Jennifer decided to focus on the different layers of the building that were exposed. There was a wide variety of textures amongst the layers. Overall, the color of the building’s layers were grays and yellows. She used those colors to unify the different surfaces.
