A Portrait of the Musée D’Orsay in Paris, France
by Jennifer Skopp
On a recent trip to Paris, Jennifer saw the Musée D’Orsay and was inspired to create an architectural illustration of it. Jennifer loved the idea that this museum used to be a train station. This museum was designed in the Beaux-Arts style.
Jennifer decided to zoom in on the top, center, section of the building. She painted the name of the museum and designed the letters to follow the shape of the Mansard roof. Jennifer brightened up the colors of the roof and clock, then repeated the colors in the sunset.
